Uxbridge Choral Society

About Us

Uxbridge Choral Society is a successful amateur choir of approximately 80 voices. Rehearsals take place at St Margaret's Church, Uxbridge. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7.45 p.m. to 9.45 p.m.,with a break mid-session for refreshments, notices and socialising.

We give two principal concerts every year which generally take place at St Margaret's Church, Uxbridge (opposite the Tube Station). Occasionally we also hold a concert at the United Reformed Church, Ickenham. See the "Contact Us" tab for full addresses and maps. We also have a Carol Concert in December and a Summer Concert in July.

Come along and find out how much fun choral singing can be. We welcome experienced singers but we also seek to encourage singers who are out of practice or less experienced. Our aim is to improve the singing technique of all our members. It is a help if you can read music but we are equally happy if you can learn quickly "by ear". In accepting new members, our Choirmaster will take account of the need to balance voices.
